To play, use WASD or the arrow keys to control your snake and boost your speed by moving right beside another snake. Don’t forget to munch on those neon bits and zap other snakes to rise to the top of the leaderboard and claim the crown!

Now, let’s dive into some tips and tricks to help you master Powerline.io!

Boost Your Speed

Your primary goal should be to keep your speed up and running! Boost your snake by riding alongside other snakes on the field. Use those speed boosts to outmaneuver your opponents, then quickly turn to block their path and zap them before they can react. Collecting neon bits will also keep your speed up and going!

Zig-Zag Your Way

Who says the name of the game is Powerline? Zigging and zagging is actually the way to go! By constantly turning left and right as you move around the field, you’ll prevent other snakes from boosting off your tail. Creating quick turns and corners with your snake will make it harder for other players to boost off of your tail, especially as your snake gets longer.

Focus on Defense

Remember, the goal is survival! To stay in the game as long as possible, focus on eating lots of bits instead of going straight for zaps. Grow your tail slowly as you progress and avoid other snakes to survive as long as you can.

Follow the Leader

If there’s nothing going on around you, head towards the crown! The crown indicator on the screen will help point you in the direction of the player with the highest score. Other players tend to congregate around the crown as well, so chances are, the closer you get to the king, the more bits you’ll find! You’ll also find much larger snakes to fight, so be ready!
