What makes holes so intriguing is the mystery surrounding them, especially when you don’t know how they work. Hole IO doesn’t provide answers, but it doesn’t need to. It’s a game about holes, and the holes are moving and eating. You’ll try to compete with other holes or focus on growing your own to see how big you can get. To be the biggest hole is an achievement, but seeing what it can eat is an even bigger thrill!

So, how do you play? Hole IO is a 3D top-down competitive game about holes swallowing everything using your mouse or keyboard. Here are the controls:

W/Up Arrow: Move Up
S/Down Arrow: Move Down
A/Left Arrow: Move Left
D/Right Arrow: Move Right

If you’re using the mouse, simply move the cursor, and your hole will follow. The goal is to eat enough to win!

Here are some tips to get you started:

Start by searching the edges of the map for small things like plants and bushes.
Humans are also a good source, but they move and don’t tend to group, so stick to stationary objects like crates.
A building can be eaten if you position yourself so that it falls straight down and not on its side.

Hole IO has five exciting game modes:

Classic: Try to become the biggest hole in under 2 minutes!
Battle Royale: Eat to become the biggest hole and eat the others!
Team Vs. Team: Work with other holes to defeat the opposing holes.
Solo Run: Just you and a whole map to eat in 2 minutes!
Monsters Attack: Eat enough ammo to fire and defeat the monsters!
