Get ready for a blast with up to four friends (or bots!) on the same device! If you don’t have anyone to play against, don’t worry - you can easily add computer opponents to join in on the fun.

When it’s time to play, you can choose from four different move and jump key layouts to suit your style:

Player 1: WASD
Player 2: TFGH
Player 3: IJKL
Player 4: Arrow Keys

There are four exciting modes to try in our version of Tag, each with its own twist. Take some time to learn the rules and strategies for each one before you start playing.

Points Tag

In this strategic version, one player is “IT” and has to chase down the others. If you’re not IT, you earn points over time. The first player to reach the target number of points wins!

Knockout Tag

In this fast-paced mode, each player starts with the same number of points. When you’re IT, you lose points - and if you hit zero, you’re out of the game! The game continues until only one player remains.

Reverse Tag

In this unique mode, everyone is IT except for one lucky player. While you’re not IT, you’ll lose points - but don’t worry, it’s actually a good thing! The player who gets to zero points first wins.

Zombie Tag

This multi-round mode is a real challenge! One player starts as IT, and whenever they tag someone, that player becomes IT too. Earn points for tagging others while IT, and for avoiding being tagged until the end of the round. The first player to reach the max points wins - and if there’s a tie, sudden death rules apply.

Choose from a fun cast of mythical creatures to play as:

Alien - This curious creature hasn’t been heard from in a while, but they’re always up for a game of Tag!
Kraken - This sea monster is tight-lipped about their ocean, but they love playing Tag with friends.
Squatch - This friendly giant is always up for a good time - don’t let their size scare you!
Dragon - This retired knight-slayer just wants to have fun and play with friends.
Pixie - This sleepy creature loves to nap underground, but they’re always ready for a lively game of Tag.
Unicorn - This magical creature loves to gallop between dimensions, leaving sparkly trails behind.

Tag Game Tips

The basics of Tag are simple: tag your opponents and avoid getting tagged yourself. But with these tips, you can take your game to the next level!

Keep your high ground

On every map, there are platforms you can jump off of to get a better view. Keep the high ground to stay safe and have an advantage.

Move in midair

When chasing or evading opponents, you’ll do a lot of jumping. The good news is that you can make small adjustments in midair to catch up or get away.

Use the jumping tokens

Oftentimes, a special token will appear on the map with an UP arrow. Collecting this token gives you the ability to jump higher than normal, giving you a big advantage in the game.
