“Get ready to explore and conquer the map in Hexanaut.io! Use your mouse to navigate across the territory, and when you’re ready, draw a line to start capturing new land. When you return to your territory, you’ll seal the deal and claim all the enclosed tiles.

But beware, venturing off your territory comes with risks! If someone else sneaks into your tail, they’ll cut you off and you’ll have to start over.

Your goal is to capture 20% of the map to become the Hexanaut, and if you can maintain your territory for two minutes after achieving this, you’ll win the game!

However, be cautious: if you’re eliminated while another player is the Hexanaut, you won’t be able to rejoin the game.

Now, let’s talk about those awesome totems! There are five different ones to capture, each with its own special powers to help you dominate the map. Here’s a quick rundown:

Spreading Totem

This totem is a game-changer in the early stages of the game. Once you capture it, it will send out lasers to capture tiles one by one, making it easier to expand your territory.

Speed Totem

These totems give you a 5% speed boost, which might not seem like much, but trust us, it adds up! Try to prioritize these totems to give yourself an edge.

Teleporting Gate

These gates are super helpful when you need to cover a large area. Instead of traversing the entire map, you can teleport to a gate and save time. Plus, it’s a great way to sneak up on your opponents!

Slowing Totem

This totem creates a zone where other players will be slowed down, giving you a huge advantage. Take advantage of this by trying to take down opponents who dare to enter the slow zone.

On the other hand, be careful not to get caught in an enemy’s slowing totem – it’s not worth the risk!

Spy Dish

This totem shows you where other players’ territories are, which becomes super useful when you start to gain a lot of ground. It helps you stay on top of potential threats and defend your territory.
