Level Up Your Heroes and Recruit New Ones

In the early zones, focus on upgrading your heroes and recruiting new ones that deal more damage. As you progress, monsters will get stronger, and you’ll encounter Bosses that must be defeated within 30 seconds! If you can’t beat a tough boss, keep leveling up and earning gold to buy more hero upgrades.

Spend Your Gold Wisely

As you play, you’ll unlock stronger heroes that cost more gold to hire and upgrade. Make smart choices by calculating which hero gives you the biggest increase in damage per gold spent.

Use Your Abilities Strategically

As you level up your heroes, you’ll unlock abilities that can make you incredibly powerful for a limited time. Each ability has its own cooldown timer, but they’re most effective when used together!

Take a Break and Come Back Later

That’s the beauty of idle clicker games like Clicker Heroes! If you feel like your progress is slowing down or you’re not earning as much gold as you’d like, take a break. Your heroes will gather gold for you while you’re away, so come back later to find some awesome loot.

When you unlock a certain hero, you’ll gain the ability to ascend. Once you ascend, you’ll earn hero souls, which will unlock new opportunities and upgrades for your heroes.

How to Save Your Progress in Clicker Heroes

One of the coolest features of Clicker Heroes is the ability to save your progress. Follow these easy steps to transfer your progress to another device.

Click the wrench icon in the top right corner of the game screen.
Select the Save button on the menu that appears.
Choose the computer folder where you’d like to save the game, and then press the Save button. You can even rename the save file (just like saving a document on your computer)!
The save game is now stored on your computer as a .txt file in the location you selected.

Uploading Your Progress

After you’ve saved your progress, it’s time to upload it to play on another device.

Find the .txt file you saved on your computer.
Open the file and copy the entire contents to your clipboard.
Go to the Coolmath Games Clicker Heroes page, and click the wrench icon in the top right corner of the screen.
Select the Import button on the menu that appears.
Paste the saved game code into the dialog and press the Import button.
If your code is valid, your progress should be loaded! If not, try copying the code again and trying again.
